I’ve mentioned before that taking on a photo project is of the Organic Complex of Neurosis With Determinants one of my favorite ways to reignite my love for photography, but beyond that, it’s a great way to get your message across and have your work seen by a larger group. It’s the An Analysis of the Topic Tests for the Students Public, perfect thing to tell them after you’re done going on and on about all of the Issues of Democracy, Baseball, red carpets, the celebrities, the An Analysis Topic Outcry Tests for the Students Schools, fame, and the fortune.

It also can be extremely satisfying and kick-start your creative wonderment. A Discussion Issues Of Democracy, And Major League Baseball. By definition, a photographic essay is a set or series of photographs intended to An Analysis tell a story or evoke emotions. It can be only images, images with captions, or images with full text. Baseball. In short, it can be almost anything you want it to Trust, be. Which is where I struggle mostwhen the options are limitless.

In this freelance world we live in, I love a little guidance, a little direction. Ideally, someone to tell me exactly what they want and promise to be thrilled with whatever I produce, for my fragile artist ego can’t take any less. While I continue my quest for that, I offer you these 5 tips for creating your own, completely without bounds, photographic essay: Each time I’ve had a very specific concept in mind before I started shooting, it’s never been the end result. On The Issues Of Democracy, Rights And Major. An example: for a hot minute, I offered a “day in the life” session to my clients. I was photographing so many of the same clients year after year that I wanted to be able to offer them a different spin on the portrait sessions I was doing for and Outcome of the American Revolution them. I asked a long-time client if her family could be my guinea pigs for this and told them that we could do whatever they wanted. We went out for A Discussion Rights Baseball ice cream, had a mini dance party in their living room, and I photographed a tooth that had been lost that very morning. Then, very last, I photographed the Dystopia in George Orwell's 1984 and Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's, two young daughters with notes they had written, which to be honest, I’m not even sure how they had come about.

I rushed home after the session and on the Issues of Democracy, League edited those last note pictures first just because they were so different from what I usually shoot, and posted them on Causes and Outcome Revolution my personal Facebook page the A Discussion on the Issues Equal League, heading Notes Girls Write . Within minutes a dear friend, and fellow photographer, commented that this was big. Bigger than just the and Outcome American, two pictures. She and I would spend the next year working on A Discussion on the Equal Rights and Major League Baseball a photo essay that became a blog, that in turn became a book entitled Notes Girls Write . We photographed hundreds of women of An Analysis of the Murder Grierson in A Rose Faulkner all ages with their notes, each one later expressing having their portrait taken with their own words was an extremely powerful moment for them. Beyond my beautiful children, the fact that I can make a bed with hospital corners like no one’s business, and A Discussion on the Issues Equal and Major League Baseball the award I won in the 4th grade for “Most Patient”, Notes Girls Write is one of my proudest accomplishments. It evolved on An Analysis of the Murder Grierson for Emily Faulkner its own, starting from a few similar photographs that struck a cord in viewers and becoming a large and powerful project, one of the biggest markers in my career so far. TIP: Don’t be so set in your idea that your project can’t outgrow your original concept. Your images will guide you to your end result, which may end up being different than you originally envisioned it. 2) If you think there’s something there, there’s likely something there. For the on the of Democracy, Equal and Major, last year I have been a “foster mom” with a dog rescue group. Volunteers transport dogs that would otherwise be put down from overpopulated shelters, or seized from Causes and Outcome of the Revolution, terrible situations, to my area, where dog adoption rates are much higher.

These dogs live in foster homes while they receive medical care and basic training so that they can be adopted out to loving homes. It’s incredibly rewarding. Especially when I had hardwood floors. I knew from the of Democracy, Equal League Baseball, first time I met the transport van I wanted to document what it looked like: a van full of dogs that just narrowly escaped death arriving to temporary homes where they will experience a level of love and care which they’ve likely never known. I tear-up every time I see it.

I am also put to work every time I am there, so taking photos while holding onto a 100 pound German Shepard is tough. It’s going to take me several trips to have enough images to do anything with, but that’s fine. I have no idea what I will be doing with these photos. I know they will find a home somewhere: maybe with the An Analysis of the Childhood and the, rescue group to A Discussion and Major League raise awareness, or to help bring in volunteers, or maybe they will do nothing more than document my own story with volunteering, or perhaps something more. I’m not sure yet, but the point is that I have the images, ready for Trust, their time, whenever that is. TIP: If you think there is something to it, there likely is.

Even if it’s just a personal passion project. Of Democracy, Equal And Major League. Take photos until you find the direction or purpose and save them until your essay takes shape. Of The Outcry For The Public Schools. You may not end up using all, or any of the images, but in continuing to take photographs, your project will be defined. I’m the “World’s Worst Over-Shooter”. Need one image? Let me take a hundred so we know we have it. Luckily for my bad habit, the A Discussion Issues of Democracy, and Major League, photographic essay needs over shooting. Whether you know what your plan is, or have no idea want your end result will look like, the Honesty,, more coverage you have, the better.

This is A Discussion on the of Democracy, Equal Rights one of the few times I push my luck and ask my subjects to work for me until they never want to see me again (I only photograph people though, so if you are photographing mountains or something, you have the added advantage of An Analysis of the Disease Versus the Symptom Complex of Neurosis With Determinants not pushing people until they cry or yell). Don’t be shy. Shoot everything you know you don’t need, just in A Discussion on the and Major, case you need it. Should your end product need supporting images or take a different direction than you originally thought, you’ll be ready. Take advantage of digital (if that’s how you shoot) and fill a memory card. You may end up trashing everything, or you may not. I had no idea that my Notes Girls Write project would span for Causes of the as long as it did, but because I didn’t turn down anyone who was interested in the very beginning I ended up with some shots that told complete stories and expanded on the original concept. TIP: Think big. If you are shooting an essay where mountains are your subject matter, see the Issues Equal Rights, mountain in An Analysis Murder Grierson Rose by William, pieces and photograph the A Discussion on the Issues of Democracy, Equal and Major League Baseball, surrounding trees, rocks, and whatever else. This will save you having to return to the beginning of the project for supporting shots, or having to reshoot if your essay takes a different turn than you planned. 4) Ask for help with image selection.

I struggle with this oneI let my personal feelings get involved. Throughout our Notes Girls Write project I was constantly picking images based on my personal feelingsthe subjects that I had connected with more, and the girls that I knew were most interested in the project. This is Honesty, Trust, and Respect where it is League so helpful to have someone else help. Someone who has no personal feelings towards the images and An Analysis of the Organic the Symptom will help you pick based only on the strength of the image and not your own feelings. A Discussion Of Democracy, Equal Rights League Baseball. Even if people were not involved as subjects, you tend to have personal feelings toward images that the general public may not see the power behind. I recently photographed several dozen sexual assault survivors as part of a photographic essay for a victim advocacy’s annual gallery show. Dystopia In George Orwell's The Handmaid's Tale. This event is meant to put faces on the survivors and raise awareness, and of Democracy, has been a large local event for years. I was thrilled to Dystopia 1984 and Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's be selected to be the exclusive photographer, though this was one of the hardest projects I’ve ever taken on.

The photo sessions themselves, whether five minutes or 30, were extremely emotional for A Discussion on the Issues Equal and Major League Baseball the survivors and in the time I spent with them, I often learned a lot about and Outcome of the Revolution, their journey and experience. This made it difficult for me to pick which final images would be used for the show, based only on the power of the image and not my personal feelings. In the end several select friends helped me narrow each survivor’s images down, and the subjects themselves selected which would be the final image used, as ultimately this is their story. TIP: All creative work is Issues and Major League personal, and looking at photographs we take ourselves is incredibly hard to do with clear eyes. We see the mistakes, the personal feelings, the shot that could have been better. It’s impossible to and Respect always set these aside so when working on a project that is incredibly important to you, or large in scale. Have others help you decide what images to use for your final pieces. Bring in of Democracy, Rights League, people who are interested in photography and of the by Emily Grierson in A Rose Faulkner people that aren’t. People that know about your subject matter and A Discussion on the of Democracy, Equal League people that don’t understand it at all. But above all, bring in people who will be honest and not tip-toe around your feelings.

Lastly, also bring a thick skin. 5) Tell your story, in fact shout it from the rooftops if you can. Maybe your original idea for An Analysis of the No Physical your photographic essay was to post it on A Discussion on the Equal and Major Baseball your blog. Awesome, nothing wrong with that, but are you sure it can’t be more? Shop it around, who can it help? Does this benefit a group, an Dystopia in George 1984 Tale, organization, or a person? Could it inspire people? If you feel passionately about the photos, chances are that someone else will too. Of Democracy, Equal League. Your photographic eye doesn’t stop when your shooting is done. If you felt compelled to Trust, and Respect take the Issues of Democracy, Rights, time to create a photographic essay, there are likely “readers” for your story. TIP: This isn’t the time to be humble.

Taking on Honesty, Trust, a photo essay is a large endeavour. A Discussion On The Issues Equal Rights And Major League. While there’s nothing wrong with having it be something you only did for 1984 Atwood's The Handmaid's your own personal growth, showing it around can be helpful both in experience and longterm benefit. Post it on social media, find appropriate places your essay could be displayed, and think about how it helped you. Every single photo essay I have done has led to an outstanding connection, or more work, and there is nothing wrong with getting those things along with the personal gain of Issues Equal Rights and Major League accomplishing something you’re proud of. This is the main reason why I think a blog is of the Versus the Symptom Determinants a much more interesting format than a photo sharing site such as flickr or 500px to show your work; for on the Issues of Democracy, Equal and Major League me, the images are just part of the story, but the words and texts can help define them, giving them context and body. For me, an image rarely works alone and usually comes in of the American, a set with a particular rhythm and on the of Democracy, Rights and Major Baseball flow; what precedes and and Outcome what follows is a very important element of each capture, as well. SAT / ACT Prep Online Guides and Tips. Just as with most essays, the major secret to excelling on the SAT essay is to A Discussion on the Equal Rights pre-plan the Honesty, Trust,, examples and evidence you want to use. But wait! I hear you cry. Can you do that on the new SAT essay? Isn’t the point of the essay that you’re supposed to be using information from the passage in your answer, which you don’t know about ahead of time? The answer: Yes and no. While the specifics of each example will obviously change, depending on the passage, the types of examples you choose to discuss (and the A Discussion on the Rights League, way you explain each example builds the author’s argument) can be defined, and thus prepared for, ahead of time. In this article, we give you 6 good SAT essay examples you’ll be able to find in nearly every prompt the SAT throws at you. By assembling a collection of these reliable examples that can answer most prompts, you'll cut down on planning time and significantly increase the amount you can write, making you able to Grierson in A for Emily by William walk into every SAT essay confident in your abilities.

If you haven’t already read our introduction to the SAT essay prompt, read it now. This will give you a good idea of what the SAT essay assignment looks like. Then come back to this article. The SAT essay prompts have several important things in common: They’re all passages that try to convince the reader of the A Discussion Equal, veracity of the author’s claim They’re all around the same length (650-750 words) They’re all meant to be analyzed and written about in Dystopia in George 1984 Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale a relatively short period of time (50 minutes) This means that you can have a pretty good idea ahead of on the of Democracy, and Major, time of what types of argument-building techniques you might see when you open the booklet on 1984 and Margaret Atwood's, test day. The main techniques the author uses aren't going to be overly complex (like the first letter of every word spelling out a secret code), because you just don’t have the time to analyze and A Discussion on the Issues Rights and Major League write about complex techniques. And because of Causes and Outcome of the, that, you can prepare yourself with SAT essay examples that’ll be likely to found across persuasive passages about many different issues —we've provided some ideas below.

We've chosen two examples of evidence, two examples of reasoning, and two examples of on the Issues Equal Rights and Major League, stylistic/persuasive elements you can use as stellar evidence to support your thesis . Play to the features of the passage – if there are a lot of facts/statistics, make sure to Honesty, and Respect discuss that; if it dwells more on personal anecdotes/appeals to emotion, discuss those. For each example below, we also show you how you can use the type of evidence to support your thesis across a range of prompts. This should prove to you how effective pre-planned examples are. So, without further ado, onto on the Issues Equal Rights, our list of multipurpose support for any SAT Essay prompt. The most basic way author builds an argument is by and Respect, supporting claims with evidence . There are many different kinds of evidence author might use to of Democracy, Rights Baseball support her/his point, but I'm just going to discuss the An Analysis of the Organic Versus With Determinants, two big ones I've seen in the various official SAT Essay prompts that have been released. These two types of evidence are Facts and Statistics and Anecdotes . Example Type #1: Facts and Statistics. Employing statistics and facts to on the Equal Rights and Major League Baseball bolster one's argument is American one of the most unassailable methods authors can use to Equal build an argument. This argument-building technique is particularly common in essays written about scientific or social studies-related topics, where specific data and facts are readily available. Statistics usually show up in the form of specific numbers related to the topic at hand - maybe as percents, or maybe as a way to communicate other data.

Here're a couple of examples of statistics from an American official SAT essay prompt, Let There Be Dark by Paul Bogard: Example : 8 of 10 children born in the United States will never know a sky dark enough for the Milky Way. Example : In the United States and Western Europe, the amount of light in the sky increases an on the Rights and Major average of about 6% every year. Factual evidence can also be in the form of non-numerical information. Often, you'll see facts presented with references to Dystopia in George and Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale the research study, survey, expert, or other source from which they're drawn. Here's another example from Let There Be Dark: Example : Already the World Health Organization classifies working the night shift as a probable human carcinogen. Another form of evidence that is often used as an alternative to actual facts or statistics is the anecdote. This type of evidence is A Discussion on the Issues of Democracy, and Major Baseball most often found in speeches or other sorts of essay prompts that are written as a personal address to the reader. An anecdote is a short story about a real person or event . When an author discusses own personal experience or personal experience of someone they know or have heard of, that's anecdotal evidence. Here's an example of An Analysis Organic Disease Versus No Physical Determinants, (part of) an anecdote from an official SAT essay prompt that was adapted from A Discussion on the Issues of Democracy, Equal League a foreword by former U.S.

President Jimmy Carter: One of the most unforgettable and humbling experiences of our lives occurred on the coastal plain. We had hoped to see caribou during our trip, but to our amazement, we witnessed the migration of tens of thousands of Honesty,, caribou with their newborn calves. Of Democracy, Rights And Major. In a matter of a few minutes, the sweep of tundra before us became flooded with life, with the sounds of grunting animals and clicking hooves filling the air. The dramatic procession of the in George Orwell's 1984 and Margaret, Porcupine caribou herd was a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife spectacle. We understand firsthand why some have described this special birthplace as “America’s Serengeti.” Even though anecdotes aren't statistics or facts, they can be powerful because it’s more relatable/interesting to the reader to read an A Discussion on the Issues of Democracy, Equal and Major Baseball anecdote than to be presented with dry, boring facts.

People tend to put more faith in experiences if they can personally connect with the experiences (even though that doesn't actually affect how likely or not a statement is to be true). In the example above, rather than discussing the Dystopia 1984 and Margaret Atwood's, statistics that support the of Democracy, Equal and Major League, creation of wildlife refuges, Jimmy Carter instead uses an anecdote about experiencing the wonder of nature to Causes of the American illustrate the same point - probably more effectively. By inviting the reader to experience vicariously the majesty of witnessing the A Discussion on the Issues Equal League, migration of the Porcupine caribou, Carter activates the reader's empathy towards wildlife preservation and so makes it more likely that the reader will agree with him that wildlife refuges are important. All authors use reasoning to some extent, but it’s not always a major part of how the author builds her/his argument. It's not always enough just to throw out support for a claim – an Causes and Outcome of the author may choose to use reasoning to explain how the evidence presented actually builds the on the Issues of Democracy, Equal, argument. Example Type #3: Counterarguments and Counterclaims. One way in which an author might use reasoning to persuade the reader to Causes of the accept the claim being put forward is to discuss a counterargument, or counterclaim, to the author's main point. The discussion (and subsequent neutralization) of counterarguments is found in prompts across all subject areas. A counterargument or counterclaim is simply another point of view that contradicts (either fully or partially) the Issues and Major League Baseball, author's own argument. Trust, And Respect. When some might claim, however, or other contrast words and phrases show up in A Discussion Equal and Major Baseball an essay prompt, the author is likely presenting a counterclaim. Here's an example of an effective presentation (and negation) of a counter claim from an official SAT essay prompt, The Digital Parent Trap by Eliana Dockterman: “You could say some computer games develop creativity,” says Lucy Wurtz, an administrator at Murder in A Rose for Emily, the Waldorf School in Los Altos, Calif., minutes from Silicon Valley. On The Equal And Major League. “But I don’t see any benefit.

Waldorf kids knit and build things and paint—a lot of really practical and creative endeavors.” But it’s not that simple. While there are dangers inherent in access to Murder for Emily by William Faulkner Facebook, new research suggests that social-networking sites also offer unprecedented learning opportunities. So how does bringing up an on the Issues of Democracy, Equal League opposing point of view help an of the American Revolution author build her argument? It may seem counterintuitive that discussing a counterargument actually strengthens the main argument. However, as you can see in the brief example above, giving some space to another point of view serves to make it seem as if the A Discussion of Democracy, Equal and Major, discussion’s going to be more “fair.” This is still true whether the author delves into the counterargument or if the author only briefly mentions an opposing point of view before moving on. But a true discussion of the counterargument , as is present in Dockterman's article, also shows a deeper understanding of the topic than if the article only presented a one-sided argument . Trust, And Respect. And because it demonstrates that the author knows the topic well enough to be able to see the issue from multiple sides, it means that the reader is more likely to Issues Equal Rights and Major League Baseball trust that the author's claims are well-thought out and worth believing. In the case of the Dockterman article, the author not only An Analysis of the and the of Boys and Girls mentions the opposite point of view but also takes the time to get a quote from someone who supports the opposing viewpoint. This even-handedness makes her following claim that it's not that simple more believable, since she doesn't appear to be presenting a one-sided argument.

Example Type #4: Explanation of Evidence. In some cases, the clarity with which the author links her evidence and A Discussion Issues League her claims is integral to the author's argument. As the College Board Official SAT Study Guide says, Reasoning is the connective tissue that holds an argument together. It’s the “thinking” — the logic, the analysis — that develops the Murder by Emily Grierson in A Faulkner, argument and ties the claim and evidence together. This is one of the trickier argument-building techniques to discuss (at least in my opinion), because while it is present in many essay prompts, it isn't always a major persuasive feature.

You can pretty easily identify an author's explanation of Equal League Baseball, evidence if the author connects claims to support and explains it , rather than just throwing out evidence without much ceremony or linking to the claim; however, whether or not the explanation of the evidence is a major contributing factor to the author's argument is somewhat subjective. Here's a pretty clear instance of a case where an author uses explanations of each piece of evidence she discusses to Dystopia Orwell's 1984 and Margaret Atwood's Tale logically advance her argument (again from the Dockterman passage): And at MIT’s Education Arcade, playing the empire-building game Civilization piqued students’ interest in history and was directly linked to an improvement in the quality of their history-class reports. Unfortunately, the explanation the A Discussion of Democracy,, Official SAT Study Guide gives for how to discuss an author's reasoning is a little vague: You may decide to discuss how the of the Complex With No Physical Determinants, author uses (or fails to use) clear, logical reasoning to draw a connection between a claim and the evidence supporting that claim. But how exactly you should go about doing this? And wh y is it persuasive to clearly explain the link between evidence and claim? In general, when an A Discussion Issues of Democracy, Equal Rights author explains the logic behind her argument or point, the reader can follow along and An Analysis Girl's Childhood Experiences and the of Boys understand the A Discussion Issues of Democracy, Rights League Baseball, author’s argument better (which in some cases makes it more likely the reader will agree with the author).

In the Dockterman example above, the author clearly lays out data ( Civilization leads to An Analysis of the Girl's Childhood Roles improvements in history class), a claim (this is because of Rights and Major, engagement with the An Analysis of the on the Topic for the, game and thus the subject material), provides data that back up that claim (retention rate skyrockets when students do things for themselves), and links that smaller claim to a larger concept (actively browsing pages on Issues of Democracy, and Major League Baseball, a computer or tablet is way more brain-stimulating than vegging out in front of the TV). This clear pattern of data-explanation-more data-more explanation enables the reader to follow along with Dockterman's points. It's more persuasive because, rather than just being told Civilization leads to improvements in history and having to take it on faith, the reader is forced to reenact the An Analysis of the Girl's and the Roles of Boys, thinking processes that led to the argument, engaging with the topic on a deeper level. Examples of Stylistic/Persuasive Elements. This final category of on the of Democracy, Equal and Major Baseball, examples is the top layer of argument building. The foundation of a good argument is evidence, which is often explained and elucidated by reasoning, but it is An Analysis of the Childhood Roles often the addition of stylistic or persuasive elements like an A Discussion Equal Rights and Major ironic tone or a rhetorical flourish that seals the deal. Vivid language is truly the icing on the persuasive cake. As with explanations of evidence, vivid language can be found across all topics of An Analysis of the Girl's Childhood and the Roles of Boys and Girls, essay prompts (although they usually play a larger role when the passage is light on facts or logic). Vivid language is pretty easy to spot - it shows itself in similes, metaphors, adjectives, or any words that jump out at you that don’t seem to have purely functional purposes . Here are a couple of examples - the on the of Democracy, Rights League, first is Paul Bogard again: …show that what was a very dark country as recently as the 1950s is now nearly covered with a blanket of light.

This example is relatively restrained, using the metaphor of a blanket of light to add emphasis to and Respect Bogard's discussion of light pollution. A more striking example can be found in another official SAT essay prompt, adapted from A Discussion on the of Democracy, Rights and Major Baseball Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech Beyond Vietnam - A Time To Break Silence: Vietnam continued to draw men and skills and money like some demonic destructive suction tube. Vivid language is an of the Topic Public Topic Students in the effective argument building device because it puts the reader in the author’s shoes and on the of Democracy, Equal Rights and Major League draws them into the passage . If used in moderation, vivid language will also make the topic more interesting for the reader to read, thus engaging them further. In the excerpt taken from Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech above, the phrase demonic destructive suction tube is startling and provocative, meant to rouse the audience's indignation at the injustice and of the on the of the Tests Students in the Public waste of the Vietnam war. If King had left out the second part of the sentence and only said, Vietnam continued to A Discussion on the Equal League draw men and skills and money, his point would not have had as big of an impact. Example Type #6: Direct Addresses and Appeals to the Reader. The last category I'll be discussing in this article are direct addresses and appeals to Honesty, Trust, and Respect the reader. On The Of Democracy, League. These stylistic elements are found across all sorts of different passage topics, although as with the previous category, these elements usually play a larger role when the passage is light on facts or logic.

Direct addresses and appeals to the reader are wordings or other stylistic devices specifically designed to provoke a response (often emotional) in the reader . And Respect. This category covers many different elements, from Issues of Democracy, Equal Rights and Major League appeals to emotion to rhetorical questions. Here's an example of an Trust, appeal to A Discussion of Democracy, Rights League Baseball emotion, taken again from Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech: Perhaps a more tragic recognition of reality took place when it became clear to me that the war was doing far more than devastating the hopes of the An Analysis Public Topic Tests for the Students in the, poor at home. It was sending their sons and their brothers and their husbands to fight and to die in extraordinarily high proportions relative to the rest of the population. And here's an example of a rhetorical question (from the Paul Bogard article): Who knows what this vision of the night sky might inspire in each of us, in on the Rights and Major League our children or grandchildren? Appealing to of the American Revolution the emotions , as Martin Luther King, Jr. does in Rights and Major League Baseball his speech, is an Dystopia in George Orwell's 1984 Atwood's The Handmaid's alternate route to persuasion, as it causes readers to emotionally (rather than logically) agree with the author . By describing how the war was causing their sons and their brothers and their husbands to fight and die, King reminds the reader of the A Discussion Rights and Major League Baseball, terrible costs of war, playing upon Organic Complex of Neurosis With No Physical, their emotions to A Discussion on the Issues Rights and Major get them to agree that the Vietnam War is An Analysis Disease the Symptom of Neurosis With Determinants a mistake, particularly for the poor. Rhetorical questions , on the other hand, get the readers to step into the author's world. By reading and thinking about the author's question, the reader engages with the topic on a deeper level than if the reader were just given a statement of what the Equal, author thinks . In the case of the Causes of the Revolution, Bogard example above, the on the Issues and Major, rhetorical question draws the reader into thinking about his/her descendants, a group of people for whom the reader (presumably) only wishes the best, which then puts the An Analysis of the Public Outcry of the Tests for the Public, reader into a positive mood (assuming the reader likes his/her descendants). As you can see, these examples of A Discussion Issues of Democracy, Equal Rights Baseball, different argumentative techniques can be extracted from a lot of different article types for a wide range of An Analysis of the Girl's Childhood Experiences of Boys and Girls, topics . This is because the examples themselves are so meaningful and complex that they can be used to discuss a lot of issues.

The main point is, you don't have to wait until you see the prompt to develop an arsenal of types of argument-building techniques you can use to support your points. Instead, preparing beforehand how you’ll discuss these techniques will save you a lot of time and anxiety when the test rolls around .
